The immersive on-mountain winter experience and on-snow demo will take place in Salt Lake City and at a nearby ski resort – registration will open later this year. This event aligns with Winter Sports Market, the specialty buying group trade event from Snow sports Merchandising Corporation (SMC) and Sports Specialists Ltd. (SSL), happening the weekend after in the Salt Palace. WSM members and participants can also join The Summit by Outdoor Retailer through brand demos and activations, or by registering to attend.

What to Expect
On-Mountain Experience
This immersive on-mountain winter experience brings the outdoor and winter sports industry together for a one-of-a-kind day of on-snow fun, unique learning experiences, and a chance to try out the latest gear. Professionally curated winter sports activities and guided classes will be hosted throughout the two days, with demo opportunities available for brands to introduce new products to retailers and media. Experiences are tailored to participants of all abilities – from beginner to expert – and may include Alpine touring, split boarding, Nordic skiing, snowshoe hiking, winter fat tire biking, winter running, orienteering, winter first aid, avalanche essentials, and more. Winter Sports Market
Winter Sports Market, an invitation only winter sports-specific trade show, will take place at the Salt Palace Convention Center concurrently with The Summit.
